Dr. Heather Cassell was born in Inspiration, Arizona and raised in Tucson. She attended the University of Arizona for both undergraduate and medical school studies, and then performed her pediatric internship and residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson. After serving four years in the Air Force as a general pediatrician, one year at Davis Monthan Air Force Base and three years at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. During her time at National Jewish Dr. Cassell performed research in the areas of food allergy and eosinophilic esophagitis but has training in and interests in all areas of asthma, allergy and immunology.

Dr. Cassell is board certified pediatrics and in allergy/immunology. She sees patients of all ages.
